FOUNDING & Managing partner

Jennifer D. Miller, Esq.

Jennifer Miller isn’t just a seasoned real estate attorney.  She’s a trusted advocate, problem-solver, and strategist who sees the bigger picture while never missing the details. As the founding and managing partner of J. Miller Law, P.C., she brings a sharp legal mind and a hands-on, solutions-driven approach to every client she serves.

With over 15 years of experience at top-tier law firms, Jennifer has built a reputation for navigating complex negotiations, high-stakes disputes, and crisis management with precision and creativity. Her focus? Resolving challenges before they escalate, saving her clients time, stress, and unnecessary costs.

Jennifer serves as general counsel to cooperative, condominium and association boards. She also represents sponsor-developers and individual unit owners, guiding them through every phase of building operations and governance. Whether it's construction defects, board transitions, unauthorized alterations or uses, rental and sale disputes, access agreements, budgetary allocations in mixed-use buildings, or regulatory compliance, she cuts through the complexities to find a clear path forward.

Jennifer’s deep experience representing cooperative and condominium boards gives her a unique edge when advocating for sponsor-developers, and vice versa. She understands the nuances of both sides, allowing her to anticipate challenges and craft more effective strategies.

Beyond transactions and litigation, Jennifer is well-versed in securing critical governmental approvals associated with New York cooperative and condominium real estate.  In particular, she has expertise in connection with subdivisions, no-action letters, new condominium formations, and tax lot creations and mergers. She has built strong relationships with key agencies like the New York Attorney General’s Office, the Department of Finance, and the Office of Cannabis Management, helping her clients navigate regulatory hurdles with efficiency and confidence.

In times of financial distress, Jennifer also counsels her clients through insolvency situations, both in and out of court, including bankruptcies, foreclosures, restructurings and collection/non-payment matters.

At her core, Jennifer is more than a legal advisor.  She’s a partner in her clients’ success, bringing clarity, strategy, and unwavering dedication to every case.
